With the ability to strafe in the air, carry two riders (passenger can fire guns) and cling to walls to regenerate stamina they are like a two-man pteranodon, but a lot better than that? It's hard to explain!

Supposedly they're amazing for early game! But because they have a tendency to bolt during taming they're rarely worth the trouble.

However, it has to be listed. When equipped with a saddle the equus:

• can double as a smithy and mortar and pestle
• has increased weight and carry capacity
• can deal torpor damage with its back kick ability
• can utilize the lasso from Bob's Tall Tales DLC

Being the fastest terrestrial dino and allowing up to 3 riders isn't enough to pluck this dino from obscurity. The gallimimus is excellent for early game scouting as it can outrun literally anything.
